Principal's Message

December 1, 2024

Dear Rocket Families,

As we approach the end of the year and the holiday season, I want to extend my warmest wishes to each of you. December is a time for reflection, celebration, and coming together as a community.

I am incredibly proud of our students for their hard work and achievements this semester. They have shown resilience, creativity, and a strong commitment to learning. Our teachers and staff have been dedicated and passionate, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

This month, we have a variety of exciting events planned: Cookies with Santa, the annual holiday concert, the Snowflake Social, and the PTO's Holiday Shop.  Additional information about these events can be found on our JRES Parent Website linked above.  We were able to get our holiday season off to a great start thanks to the JRES PTO's gift of sending the entire school to see the live performance of Frozen, Jr at South Warren High School.  The PTO uses the proceeds from the annual Holiday Shop to be able to provide all students and staff the gift of an annual experience that we can enjoy together!

As the weather gets colder, please ensure your children come to school dressed warmly. We want everyone to stay healthy and safe during this season.  Coats are a necessary part of outdoor recess this time of year!

I also want to take this opportunity to thank you, our parents and guardians, for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Your partnership is invaluable, and we appreciate all that you do to help make our school a wonderful place for our students.

Finally, I wish you all a joyful and restful holiday season. May it be filled with peace, love, and happiness. We look forward to seeing everyone in the new year, ready to embark on another successful semester.

Warm regards,

Leslie Shultz
