Principal's Message

Nov. 1, 2025

Dear Families,

Happy November! It’s hard to believe we are already well into the school year. As the season of gratitude approaches, I want to take a moment to thank you for the incredible partnership we share. Your support, encouragement, and involvement play a huge role in helping our students learn and grow each day.

November is a time for reflection and celebration. We are proud of the progress our students have made so far, and we are excited to continue building on that momentum. This month brings several opportunities for connection, including our annual Veterans Day Program and Harvest Lunch.

A few reminders as we move into the upcoming season:

  • Attendance Counts – Every day matters! Please help your child be at school on time and ready to learn.

  • Bundle Up – Cooler mornings are here! Be sure to send jackets and label items so they don’t end up in the lost-and-found.

  • Stay Connected – Keep an eye on classroom newsletters and school updates for upcoming events and activities.

Most of all, I am thankful for our incredible school community. Together, we are creating a place where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to do their very best.

Wishing you a wonderful month filled with learning, laughter, and gratitude.

With appreciation,
Leslie Shultz
Principal

PTO's Proposed Improvements

The JRES PTO is absolutely crucial to all the little things that make JRES such a neat place to learn each day!  They have sent us on school-wide field trips at no cost to the families, organize the Holiday Shop, provide all the new equipment for the STEM lab, manage t-shirt sales, celebrate the staff, and many other contributions!

Their current goal is an ambitious goal, but it is one we can surely attain and it will generate so much joy for ALL students!  Please take a moment to look at the proposed playground additions (image at left) that are inclusive AND engaging!
