Principal's Message

May 12, 2025

Dear Rocket Family,

As we wrap up another incredible school year, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your dedication, energy, and partnership. Together, we’ve created a year full of learning, growth, and memorable moments.

To our amazing students: I am so proud of everything you’ve accomplished. Whether you were mastering math, reading new books, helping a friend, or showing kindness in the hallway, you’ve made our school a special place to be. Keep your curiosity alive this summer—read often, explore nature, ask questions, and most importantly, have fun!

To our families: Thank you for your unwavering support. Your involvement and encouragement make a world of difference in your children’s education. We are grateful for the strong connection between home and school that helps every child succeed.

To our dedicated staff: You’ve gone above and beyond this year, and I’m so grateful for your passion and commitment to our students. You make this school a place where children are seen, valued, and inspired.

I wish everyone a relaxing, joyful, and safe summer break. We look forward to welcoming you back in the fall, refreshed and ready for another exciting year!

With appreciation and warm wishes,

Leslie Shultz

PTO's Proposed Improvements

The JRES PTO is absolutely crucial to all the little things that make JRES such a neat place to learn each day!  They have sent us on school-wide field trips at no cost to the families, organize the Holiday Shop, provide all the new equipment for the STEM lab, manage t-shirt sales, celebrate the staff, and many other contributions!

Their current goal is an ambitious goal, but it is one we can surely attain and it will generate so much joy for ALL students!  Please take a moment to look at the proposed playground additions (image at left) that are inclusive AND engaging!
