Dear Families,

As we settle into the shortest yet heartiest month of the year, our hallways are buzzing with reflection and warmth. February gives us a unique opportunity to look backward with gratitude and forward with kindness.

With the second half of the year well underway, we are focusing on "Mid-Winter Momentum." This is a critical time for reading growth and math stamina. We appreciate your continued support in ensuring your child arrives on time and ready to learn—every day counts!

February is also our month to focus on Kindness. Let’s challenge our students to look for "quiet acts of care"—holding a door, inviting a new friend to play at recess, or offering a word of encouragement.

Thank you for being our partners in nurturing not just great students, but great humans.

News & Announcements

PTO's Proposed Improvements

The JRES PTO is absolutely crucial to all the little things that make JRES such a neat place to learn each day!  They have sent us on school-wide field trips at no cost to the families, organize the Holiday Shop, provide all the new equipment for the STEM lab, manage t-shirt sales, celebrate the staff, and many other contributions!  

Their current goal is an ambitious goal, but it is one we can surely attain and it will generate so much joy for ALL students!  Please take a moment to look at the proposed playground additions (image at left) that are inclusive AND engaging!
